Challenge Cards

I am in a scrapbook club through hubby's work Toyota and our challenge last month was to make 2 cards using a piece of paper that had a word or quote on it that they gave us.The butterfly card is my favorite. I used Teardrop for the butterfly and welded it together with my Design Studio software to make a flip card and Stretch Your Imagination for Spring. QK for the flourishes and the small tab. You can't actually see the quote on these pictures because I put it them on the inside of the cards.
On the basket card I used Doodlecharms for the basket welded together to make a flip card and Stretch Your Imagination for the bunny rabbit. Hoppy is Doodletype and Easter is Opposites Attract welded together.

April Vintage Baby Class

This is the latest vintage baby class I did for my LSS. I used Plantin Schoolbook and Opposites

Attract for the title. The scallop half circle is using my design studio with george. The flowers are WIMG and the butterflies are from Teardrop. The little birdies in the nest are from Zooballoo, love how cute they are. The leaves are Plantin Schoolbook. The scallop border is welded together with the software using Plantin Schoolbook. The Baby square is Accent Essentials. The photocorners are QK.
I want to redo these pages in blue and pink for each of my babies, this one was designed for both for the class.

***As with any of the class pages if you would like a kit just call Melissa at the store and she will ship a kit to you.

Inspiration Class

This is April's Inspiration class Delight, at Scrap Paper Scizzors. I love these flowers, you can't really see in the pictures but they have glimmer mist on them. The flourishes are QK and the flowers are from the Walk In My Garden cricut cartridge. This layout was inspired by Tamara Jensen. She is an awesome designer and I am always inspired when I see her creations.
I made the scallop square with the Design studio. The words are Opposites Attract welded together.May's Inspiration Class: Moments, the scallop border was welded together with the Design Studio using Plantin Schoolbook and the flourishes are Stretch Your Imagination. The words are Opposites Attract. The center of the flowers are Mini Monograms. The circle silhouette is from George.

Sorry the pictures aren't the best. If you would like a kit just call Melissa at the store. Her link to the store is under my favorite places on the right . I also added my email on the left so you can email me directly. Everyone's comments are so sweet and if you want any of the files that I have made I would be happy to email them to you.

I've been tagged....

Lynn: http://beautifuldelightsblog.blogspot.com/ has tagged me! The rules are that you give 7 weird or random facts about yourself, then tag 7 more blogging friends, leaving a message on their site inviting them to play along. (Like in my earlier post, I don't know anyone well enough yet to tag)
My 7 weird and random facts:
1. My husband had to come and pick me up on our wedding day and take me to the church because my parents didn't want me to get married (I was 22).
2. I have been married for 13 years and in that time I have moved about 16 times. Some of my family have told me they won't write my address down with ink because they know I will move again.
3. This grosses my hubby out but I love to eat cottage cheese with beef stew and I hate to eat fruit with cottage cheese YUCK!!!
4. My husband baptized me after we got married and what's really cool is the church we are at now was given the baptistry that I was baptized in to put in their new building. Although now hubby says he should have held me under a little longer.
5. I have a rock that looks like a potato that my grandpa gave me when I was 8.
6. I don't have my scrap layouts in books yet, I can't find one that I really like, because I want them all to match. My hubby says I'm crazy!!!
7. As soon as I come in from outside I have to take my shoes off, and my children are the same way. Drives hubby crazy!!!

I really haven't been blogging long enough to know who to pass this onto. Most of the time I'm just a lurker on some really awesome blogs. So for now I will give this award to all the talented ladies that inspire me every day. Hopefully soon I will add links to five blogs when I have time and I don't have a 3 year old yelling for Mommy every 2 minutes!!!
