Thank You Cards

I have been making thank you cards to send to everyone that was so kind too us during our recent losses in our family

A few things that I have done recently....

Sorry I have been missing again. My wonderful father in law passed away from lung cancer. I will be so glad when this year is over, my uncle, aunt, mom and father in law have passed away this year :(

I grew up in Eastern Ky the mountains, my dad loved to dig ginseng, we spent a lot of times in the woods.
My daughter wrote this poem several years ago and I made this layout for the funeral for her Papaw, my father in law.
This was my mom and dad while they were dating. My sissy has been coming and scrapping with me, she found this paper and it was perfect for this layout and pictures.

I made this card for my friends baby shower. So cute......

The best Mommy....

I got to scrap with my sister yesterday and we had so much fun. I love being closer to my family. We made this layout about our mom. I still need to do the journaling. I miss her so much.

Cherish Baby Layout

I finally got in my scrap room and created this layout for this months baby class. I really needed this, it helps keeping my hands busy.

*** This is for October's Vintage Baby Class at Scrap Paper Scizzors If you would like a kit just email her and she can send you a kit or for any of my past classes that she has kits left.

Love the colors on this layout, the picture isn't the greatest, but trust me the colors are much nicer.

Sorry to be missing in action everyone, my mom passed away September 11 after being in and out of the hospital. I miss her so much and I don't know what to do with myself. Hopefully I will be back soon!!!

Hey everyone, I am going to try something new. My hubby has been encouraging me to start selling some of my page kits. I have a few kits that I made extra from a previous class and I just listed them on etsy, there are 4 kits available. Bear with me this all new, and it will take me a while to figure everything out. I am working on designing a back to school layout and will have it posted in a few day.

Our Challenge this week was a color combo challenge based on the color of smores: Graham Cracker-Tan, Chocolate- Dark Brown, Marshmallows-White, and Fire- Red, Orange or Yellow.

Camp-Friendzy Altered Journal

I am loving all the challenges at Camp-Friendzy This was for a ore-camp challenge:
It's going to be a long summer at camp and we're going to have lots of fun challenges! You won't want to miss or forget anything so we're going to create the perfect place to keep track of everything! A notebook to use to jot down challenges, inspiration, & journaling. Now any old piece of paper would work, but we're scrappy so we have to make it pretty!

I love Summer my daughters last day of school is tomorrow, I love having her home with me everyday.

I had my gallbladder taken out last Friday and today is the first day I have felt like myself. I am hoping I will get to scrapbook this weekend. We are going to stay home and enjoy the weekend at home.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!

I got to play today in my scrap room for National Scrapbook Day. I told my sweetie that I was going to my room and play all day, he was so sweet and let me. The kids played in and outside today in between the rain. I got this two page layout done for one of the Challenges at My Pink Stamper- Challenge 11, May Day. I need to take some family pictures to add to it. I know I am bad, my LSS has me ruined with designing classes, I make the layout first and then add pictures. I got to play with some of my favorite Cricut cartridges, Serenade and Storybook. I found this awesome sketch on the internet at Sketch Savvy. I am still working on some of the great challenges at My Pink Stamper.

Pagemaps Contest Entry

I created this layout when my friends came over to scrap with me. This picture is so special, it was right after Caleb's hair started coming back in from chemo treatments and we had just found out he was in remission. He had also just started to walk a little bit. I could not have gone through Caleb's sickness without my husband's strength. He is a wonderful Daddy and I am so thankful for him. Sorry Everyone, I just couldnt seem to get these finished early. Hopefully I will do better :(
This is a little different for me, but I love it. I love the pink and I added glitter to the snowflakes. This is the January Inspiration Class. The magic of is Winter Woodland, Winter is Alphalicious, and the cutie snowman is Doodlecharms.

I really like how this one turned out. I got to play with some of my Cricut cartridges. The font is Songbird, the little bird is Winter Woodland, the flourishes are Serenade. The cute snowman is Speaking of Winter. Songbird is one my very favorite fonts. This is the January Vintage Baby Class.
